If you look at the images from your seat in front of the computer, Mr. Angry is on the left, and Ms. Calm is on the right.
But if you get up from your seat and move back 12 feet (across the room), PRESTO!! they switch places!! This illusion was created by Phillippe G. Schyns and Aude Oliva of the University of Glasgow .
Does that mean we sometimes see things as they really are not? Or are we so close to something (or someone) we cannot truly figure out what is real and what is not. Interesting things to think about.
